YAFFA is an eco-fem folk-soul band born in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Led by songwriter and climate-activist Jenny Wechter, her compositions explore interconnection, existential meaning, and the path towards inner and outer, planetary harmony. From folk ballads about presence and living waters to soulful rumbles about energy use and capitalism, her music is meant to wake us up. Deeply inspired by the Grateful Dead, Yaffa explores the spaces in between and channels music as a vehicle for journeys of the soul.
